Job summary

MCI IT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to support OSS/BSS solution consulting, presales and post-sales activities for telecom operator customers.

You will work directly with clients on technical requirements, solution design, product demonstrations and proposals. The role requires hands-on understanding of telecom OSS/BSS platforms and the ability to coordinate with product and engineering teams to help with implementation, testing and post-sales

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT, Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications OSS/BSS solutions and consulting.
• Experience with CRM, billing, charging, order management, product catalog or related platforms.
• Experience working directly with telecom operators on OSS/BSS projects.
• Able to gather customer requirements and produce solution designs and architecture docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand business and technical requirements across OSS/BSS domains.
• Provide presales solution consulting, including requirements analysis, design, presentations and proposals.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and prepare solution architecture and technical documentation.
• Conduct technical workshops and solution discussions with customer teams.
• Translate customer requirements into OSS/BSS designs with product and engineering teams.
• Support project implementation, system integration, testing, acceptance and post-sales activities.
• Coordinate with regional and overseas product, engineering and delivery teams to resolve issues.
• Provide technical support during engagements and assist with solution optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain understanding of telecommunications digital transformation trends and OSS/BSS technologies.

Job Overview:

• We are looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant to support telecommunications OSS/BSS solution consulting, presales and post-sales activities for telecom operator customers.
• The role requires strong hands‑on understanding of telecom OSS/BSS platforms and the ability to work directly with customers on technical requirements, solution design, product demonstrations, proposals, implementation support and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with telecom operator customers to understand business and technical requirements across OSS/BSS domains.
• Provide presales solution consulting, including requirement analysis, solution design, product presentations, demonstrations and technical proposals.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and prepare solution architecture and technical documentation.
• Conduct technical workshops and solution discussions with customer business and technical teams.
• Translate customer requirements into suitable OSS/BSS solution designs together with product and engineering teams.
• Support project implementation, system integration, testing, acceptance and post‑sales technical activities.
• Coordinate with regional and overseas product, engineering and delivery teams to resolve technical and solution‑related issues.
• Provide technical support during customer engagements and assist with solution optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain understanding of telecommunications digital transformation trends and relevant OSS/BSS technologies.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications OSS/BSS solutions, solution consulting, presales, implementation or technical delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of telecommunications BSS and/or OSS domains such as CRM, billing, charging, order management, product catalogue, customer management, service fulfilment, service assurance or related platforms.
• Prior experience working directly with telecommunications operators on OSS/BSS projects.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and producing solution designs, technical proposals or architecture documentation.
• Able to conduct technical presentations, workshops and solution discussions with customer stakeholders.
• Experience supporting RFP/RFI and complex enterprise or telecommunications solution proposals.
• Familiarity with system integration, APIs, databases and enterprise application architecture.
• Able to work effectively with geographically distributed product, engineering and delivery teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Regional customer‑facing experience within the telecommunications industry is preferred.
