Job summary

Talent First is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Consultant to support telecommunications customers across the region. The role blends technical consulting, customer engagement and solution design, partnering with sales and delivery teams to develop customer-focused solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong BSS background, hands-on RFIs/RFPs, and experience engaging operators or vendors. Regional project experience is a plus and you will build trusted customer relationships through

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong knowledge of Business Support Systems (BSS).
• Experience preparing RFIs, RFPs, technical proposals and solution presentations.
• Experience with telecom operators or telecom solution vendors is advantageous.
• Regional project or customer engagement experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to understand business objectives, challenges and technical requirements.
• Design and recommend solution architectures aligned with product capabilities.
• Support the sales team through the pre-sales process, including discussions and proposals.
• Conduct product demonstrations, workshops and POC sessions as needed.
• Gather and document customer requirements for solution design and implementation planning.
• Prepare technical responses for RFIs, RFPs and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with product management, engineering and delivery teams on feasibility and approach.
• Coordinate release planning and ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation and assist in issue resolution.
• Build trusted customer relationships through professional technical advice and consultation.
