Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Consultant to support telecommunications customers across the region.

The role combines technical consulting, customer engagement and solution design, working with sales and delivery teams to develop customer-focused solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong BSS background, extensive telecom experience, and is comfortable engaging customers throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in the telecom industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with BSS.
• Experience preparing and supporting RFPs, RFIs, technical proposals and solution presentations.
• Experience working with telecommunications operators or telecom solution vendors is a plus.
• Regional project or customer engagement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to understand business objectives, operational challenges and technical requirements.
• Design and recommend solution architectures that meet customer needs while aligning with product capabilities.
• Support the sales team throughout the pre-sales process, including technical discussions, solution positioning and proposal preparation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops and Proof of Concept (POC) sessions where required.
• Gather, analyse and document customer requirements for solution design and implementation planning.
• Prepare technical responses for RFIs, RFPs and tender submissions.
• Work with product management, engineering and delivery teams to assess solution feasibility and implementation approach.
• Coordinate release planning and solution delivery to support successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation and assist in resolving customer issues where necessary.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by providing professional technical advice and consultation.
