Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Solution Engineer to deliver high-quality on-site technical support and software solutions for customers. The role involves collaboration with software developers and participation in the software development lifecycle, with emphasis on .NET and SQL proficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of IT experience, basic networking knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in .NET and SQL.
• Experience with on-site technical support and installations.
• Familiarity with Windows server firewall and policy.
• Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site technical support including installation, preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and troubleshooting of deployed software and hardware devices.
• Manage customer enquiries relating to technical and service problems with tact and courtesy.
• Practice continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with equipment modifications and new systems.
• Maintain deployed software using .NET and SQL for OTP software/devices.
• Collaborate with software developers to investigate bugs and design enhancements.

Job description

The Solution Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technical support and software solutions to customers. This role involves on-site service delivery, collaboration with software developers, and active participation in the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in .NET and SQL, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role will be reporting to Solution Manager, Integration Sales

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform on-site technical support including installation, preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and troubleshooting of deployed software and hardware devices.
• Manage customer’s enquiries relating to technical and service problems with tact and courtesy
• Practice continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with new knowledge of equipment modifications, new systems and related technical information
• Maintains deployed software using .NET and SQL programming for the OTP software/devices for our customers
• Work with software developer to investigate applications bugs to identify faults in application logic
• Work with software developer to analyze, design, program, debug and modifies software enhancement
• Provide on-site customer support to ensure optimal system functionalisty and customer’s satisfaction.
• Design, implement, test, document and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed or embedded software applications, tools, systems

EXPERT THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• NITEC/Diploma in IT with 1-2 years of relevant IT experience
• Basic IT knowledge and Troubleshooting skill
• Basic TCP/IP Networking and structure cabling knowledge
• Basic Troubleshooting skill for combined network
• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting skill for Microsoft Windows and Windows server firewall and policy
• Knowledge in cyber security
• Preferably possess own transport to travel to customer sites.
