Job summary

Tunity Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a responsible System Field Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support for customers, taking ownership from investigation to closure.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and peripherals, travel to customer sites, install and test equipment, and coordinate with internal teams for complex issues. Fresh graduates with hands-on attitude are welcome, training provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Some experience in IT support, field service, system support or hardware troubleshooting preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, networking, hardware peripherals and software applications.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and good-natured System Field Support Engineer to provide technical support to our customers at their premises. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with customers and taking ownership of issues from investigation through to proper follow-up and closure.

Key responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to hardware, software, systems, connectivity and equipment supplied by the Company.
• Diagnose problems systematically and identify possible root causes.
• Support installation, configuration, testing, maintenance and replacement of equipment where required.
• Provide software and system troubleshooting and coordinate with internal technical teams for more complex issues.
• Test and verify that systems are functioning properly after troubleshooting.
• Escalate unresolved issues with clear findings and supporting information.
• Prepare a Service Report after every site visit, documenting the problem, findings, actions taken and outstanding matters.
• Follow up diligently on outstanding issues until they are resolved or properly handed over.
• Keep customers and internal teams updated on the status of reported issues.
• Support system deployment, preventive maintenance, health checks and other technical activities when required.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Some experience in IT support, field service, system support or hardware troubleshooting is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, networking, hardware peripherals and software applications.
• Experience with RFID, barcode, IoT, handheld computers, printers or Auto-ID technologies is an advantage, but training can be provided.
• Able and willing to travel to customer sites.
• Fresh graduates with a strong hands-on attitude are welcome to apply.
