Job summary

9 Helios Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based solar engineering and installation company, seeks a Solar Business Development Executive to identify opportunities and drive sales in Singapore's renewable energy market. You will develop relationships with homeowners, commercial owners, developers, and industry partners to propose solar PV solutions and close deals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management is preferred.
• Experience in renewable energy, solar PV, construction, property, electrical engineering, or the building industry is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a strong interest in sales and business development.
• Willingness to conduct customer meetings, site visits, and networking activities.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities.
• Good command of English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for residential and commercial solar PV projects.
• Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, customer outreach, and industry connections.
• Build relationships with homeowners, commercial building owners, developers, architects, builders, and other potential business partners.
• Understand customers' requirements and recommend suitable solar energy solutions with support from the technical team.
• Arrange customer meetings, conduct site visits, and present solar proposals and quotations.
• Follow up on enquiries, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and manage customer relationships throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed projects.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's business development objectives.
