Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced automation engineer to lead design, integration, and testing of control systems at Ang Mo Kio Techplace.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver reliable PLC and HMI solutions, and support ongoing optimization of electrical and software components. Responsibilities cover SDLC governance, design specification drafting, BOM management, wiring, and on-site as well as remote support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation/semiconductor industry.
• Strong PLC & HMI programming skills (Omron, Mitsubishi, Pro-face).
• Programming in Motion Control, Analog, PIDs, and Process Control.
• Knowledge of Modbus, EtherCAT or EIP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop high-quality, maintainable software meeting user requirements
• Draft functional and detailed design specifications
• Interpret client requirements, identify design parameters, and ensure solutions are delivered accurately within budget and timeline
• Participate in control system requirement analysis
• Design and update electrical schematics drawings
• Source and select electrical components, prepare and issue BOM
• Perform PLC & HMI programming, system implementation, testing, and debugging
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet project requirements and schedules
• Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Analyze existing software and propose improvements
• Ensure timely resolution of software and electrical issues
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support at customer sites

• Working days: Monday - Friday 830am to 530pm
• Location : Ang Mo Kio Techplace
• Salary: $4,000 - $6,000

Job Responsibilities
