SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is recruiting an Automation Engineer (PLC / HMI Programming) in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. The role focuses on developing reliable automation software, PLC and HMI programming, and supporting projects in the semiconductor and electronics field.

You should hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering, with hands-on PLC/HMI experience, and knowledge of Omron or Mitsubishi platforms. Salary up to SGD 6,200/month plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in industrial automation or control systems.
• Strong hands-on PLC and HMI programming skills.
• Experience with Omron, Mitsubishi or equivalent PLC/HMI platforms.
• Able to interpret or prepare electrical schematics.
• Able to perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Semiconductor equipment experience is advantageous.
• Candidates with stronger relevant experience may be considered for a Senior Automation Engineer position.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable and maintainable automation software according to SDLC requirements.
• Prepare functional and detailed design specifications.
• Analyse customer requirements and determine suitable control-system solutions.
• Design, prepare and update electrical schematic drawings.
• Select electrical components and prepare Bills of Materials.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs.
• Perform system implementation, testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic electrical wiring and electrical troubleshooting.
• Review existing software and recommend modifications and improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and project records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and project schedules.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support at customer locations when required.

• Position: Automation Engineer (PLC / HMI Programming)
• Location: Ang Mo Kio (Few bus stops from Yio Chu Kang MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days' work week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6200 + Bonus + 14 days annual leave + Medical
• Duration: Permanent
