THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an Automation Software Engineer (PLC // Control System) in Singapore.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining PC-based control software for industrial automation equipment, with hands-on PLC programming and integration tasks. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions, ensuring safety compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PC-based machine control software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with C# and C++ in industrial automation projects.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain PC-based control software for industrial automation equipment.
• Develop machine control applications using C#, C++, or other object-oriented languages.
• Perform PLC programming, I/O configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with automation systems.
• Configure and integrate PLCs, PCs, HMIs, sensors, servo systems and other equipment.
• Support machine setup, testing, commissioning, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Project teams to deliver automation solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including specifications, architecture, and tests.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement, system optimization, and machine performance projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Position : Automation Software Engineer (PLC // Control System)

Salary: $3800 - $5000

Working Hours: 5 days , 8:30am - 6:00pm

Location : Pioneer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain PC-based control software for industrial automation equipment.
• Develop machine control applications using C#, C++, or other relevant object-oriented programming languages.
• Perform PLC programming, I/O configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with industrial automation systems.
• Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols between PLCs, PCs, HMIs, sensors, servo systems, and other automation equipment.
• Support machine setup, equipment testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
• Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Project teams to develop and deliver effective automation solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including software specifications, control architecture, and test documentation.
• Ensure automation systems comply with relevant industry safety standards and project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement, system optimization, and machine performance enhancement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in PC-based machine control software development and industrial automation.
• Hands-on experience in C#, C++, or other relevant object-oriented programming languages.
• Knowledge and practical experience in PLC programming, I/O addressing, and industrial communication protocols.
• Understanding of industrial automation control systems, machine commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating PLCs with PC-based control systems, HMIs, servo or motion control systems will be an added advantage.
