Job summary

SYS-MAC AUTOMATION ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI/SCADA programs based on customer specifications and SYS-Mac standards.

You will integrate third party equipment, connect to MES or databases, prepare I/O and software documents, liaise with customers and project engineers, and implement ECNs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Automation Control or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Automation projects
• Experience in PLC programming & SCADA design is a must
• Knowledge of Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, SCADA (WinCC, Ignition)
• Knowledge of C++, C#, .NET is an added advantage
• Knowledge of robot programming is an added advantage
• Willing to travel overseas for assignments at short notice
• Good interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Developing and troubleshooting PLC & SCADA program
• Developing and integration with MES or Database systems
• Troubleshooting communications with MES or database
• Troubleshooting electrical components & system control
• Prepare Machine I/O, flow chart, interface time chart, data allocation list, setup procedure and software code
• Documentation of machine operation manual for the project
• Liaise with the Customer, Design and Project Engineer for the software development and execution of the project
• Execute Engineering Change Notice (ECN) for change of software
• Maintain proper project documentation
• Provide training to End users and technicians.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures

• Produce complete control solution and software design baseon customer specification and Sys-Mac standardized practice

• PLC based software control design & HMI software design

• Integration of third-party equipment’s and components into software design
  Example data communication, barcode scanner, motion control, Robot Controllers, vision system and signal conditional
