Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation seeks a Logistics/Operations assistant to manage stock handling, scrap and return processing, and work-order verification in our wafer fabrication logistics environment.

The role requires 2+ years in semiconductor warehousing or logistics, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate across functions. On-site position in Singapore, with regular inventory audits and involvement in audits and cost-reduction reviews.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Engineering or a qualification in Supply Chain and Logistics Management.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in wafer fabrication, semiconductor environment, warehousing, or logistics operations.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and comfortable working with computerized systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock Handling: prepare and submit material request forms to the warehouse and support the organization, storage, and control of inventory within the mini-warehouse.
• Scrap and Return Processing: verify items identified by the module for scrapping or return, ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate, and coordinate with the warehouse for further processing.
• Work Order Verification: validate tracking labels for parts undergoing exchange, repair, or cleaning activities using the internal tracking system.
• Warehouse Inventory Control: conduct weekly random stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy, proper labeling, correct storage locations, and retention of only serviceable items within the mini-warehouse.
• Daily Operational Tracking: attend module and operations morning meetings to review parts replaced on equipment during the previous 24 hours and verify alignment with system records.
• Compliance Follow-up: monitor vendor gate passes on a weekly basis to ensure no passes remain open beyond 90 days and follow up on compliance-related actions as required.
• Meeting Participation: support and participate in audits, cost-reduction reviews, and other operational meetings when required.
