Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) in Singapore is seeking a diligent Logistics Associate to support stock handling, scrap/return processing, and daily warehouse operations within a wafer fabrication environment.

You will verify work orders, conduct weekly stock checks, and ensure compliance with internal systems, while collaborating across functions to maintain accurate inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent in engineering or supply chain discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in wafer fab, semiconductor, warehousing or logistics.
• Self-motivated with ownership and results-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable with computerized systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock Handling: prepare and submit material request forms to the warehouse and support inventory control within the mini-warehouse.
• Scrap and Return Processing: verify items for scrapping or return and coordinate with warehouse for processing.
• Work Order Verification: validate tracking labels for parts undergoing exchange, repair, or cleaning.
• Warehouse Inventory Control: conduct weekly random stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy and proper storage locations.
• Daily Operational Tracking: attend morning meetings to review parts replaced and align with system records.
• Compliance Follow-up: monitor vendor gate passes weekly and ensure no passes are open beyond 90 days.
• Meeting Participation: support audits, cost-reduction reviews, and other operational meetings.

Job description

• Stock Handling: prepare and submit material request forms to the warehouse and support the organization, storage, and control of inventory within the mini-warehouse.
• Scrap and Return Processing: verify items identified by the module for scrapping or return, ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate, and coordinate with the warehouse for further processing.
• Work Order Verification: validate tracking labels for parts undergoing exchange, repair, or cleaning activities using the internal tracking system.
• Warehouse Inventory Control: conduct weekly random stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy, proper labeling, correct storage locations, and retention of only serviceable items within the mini-warehouse.
• Daily Operational Tracking: attend module and operations morning meetings to review parts replaced on equipment during the previous 24 hours and verify alignment with system records.
• Compliance Follow-up: monitor vendor gate passes on a weekly basis to ensure no passes remain open beyond 90 days and follow up on compliance-related actions as required.
• Meeting Participation: support and participate in audits, cost-reduction reviews, and other operational meetings when required.

Job Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Engineering, or a qualification in Supply Chain and Logistics Management.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a wafer fabrication facility, semiconductor environment, warehousing, or logistics operations.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and resourceful with a strong sense of ownership.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and comfortable working with computerized systems.
