Job summary

Coherent Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, shipping and general warehouse operations in a fast-paced setting. You will verify quantities and part numbers, process ERP transactions, label and store materials, and ensure FIFO and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Prior ERP experience (Oracle/SAP) is a plus, along with basic IT skills. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic warehouse

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC or secondary education or equivalent required.
• Prefer experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing operations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform system transactions.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers and paperwork.
• Process receiving and shipping transactions in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Quality Inspectors for incoming inspection activities as needed.
• Label, store, and manage materials following procedures; maintain FIFO and good housekeeping.
• Support inventory accuracy and safety/quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and shipment documentation against purchase orders and delivery orders.
• Perform visual inspection for damaged or incorrect materials and report discrepancies.
• Process receiving transactions in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Quality Inspectors for incoming inspection activities when required.
• Label and store materials in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of shelf-life and controlled materials.

Shipping

• Pick and prepare finished goods for shipment based on shipping schedules and customer requirements.
• Process shipping transactions accurately in the ERP system.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation including packing lists and commercial invoices.
• Coordinate shipment collections with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Ensure products are packed and shipped according to work instructions and quality requirements.

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the warehouse.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing and material handling.
• Follow FIFO practices and storage requirements where applicable.
• Comply with safety, quality, and company procedures at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
