Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation in Singapore is seeking a Snr/Associate Engineer to maintain and service Etch equipment on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will follow SOPs, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot common issues, and ensure equipment readiness for production.

Candidates should have a Nitec or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics and at least 2 years in wafer fabrication/etch equipment.

Qualifications

• Nitec/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2 years experience in wafer fabrication equipment and etch equipment tools (oxide/metal).
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.
• Strong teamwork, analytical skills, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP and carry out CAS per specification.

• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain good housekeeping on production floor and support areas.
• Ensure safety and proper custody of tools and equipment.
• Use measurement instruments for data collection.
• Perform 12-hour shift to support production readiness.
• Assist in installation/hook up of new/upgraded equipment.
• Assist in equipment improvement projects.
• Provide on-the-job training support to new technicians.

Job description

Snr/Associate Engineer, Etch Equipment (Ref: 260900192)

• Follow SOP and carry out CAS per specification.


• Execute scheduled /special preventive maintenance (PM) as per PM schedule and specifications.


• Troubleshoot basic equipment related issues and minimize equipment downtime.


• Maintain good housekeeping in the production floor / sub FAB / Office, and
  maintenance support areas.


• Ensure and follow good safety practice and also
  safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module.


• Know how to use measurement instruments effectively in data collection.
  Perform shift duties (12-hours shift) to support the running
  of production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.


• Assist Engineer in the installation and hook up of new or
  upgrading equipment.


• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.


• Execute good maintenance of support tools.


• Assist new Technician/Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.


• Provide proper and accurate passed down of line issues and
  documentation (fill up and file the checklists).

Job Responsibilities:
