Job summary

Samsung-C in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead site construction, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure progress meets schedule on large infrastructure projects.

You will oversee safety, quality, and technical problem solving, prepare method statements, and manage a team of supervisors and workers to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant civil engineering and construction experience, preferably involving large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with a major EPC or main contractor (A1-equivalent).
• Strong hands-on experience in site execution and construction coordination of civil, structural, tunnel and/or underground infrastructure works.
• Able to commit to long working hours to meet tight project deadlines (6D; Mon-Sat, 7.30am-6pm).

• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors

• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements:
