Job summary

TIANMING CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily construction activities on the project.

You will lead a team of operation staff on-site, monitor worker deployment, and ensure adherence to safety standards and WSHE regulations. You will also coordinate planning, scheduling, material requisitions, and documentation, ensuring on-time progress within budget while maintaining high quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of construction experience in Singapore.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specs and plans.
• Familiar with construction methods, planning, materials and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers and attend site meetings as required.
• Report to the Project Director and oversee site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations.
• Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site.
• Maintain and manage site storage areas for building materials and equipment.
• Maintain site access throughout the construction period.
• Planning ahead to prevent the problem on-site before it occurs, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials.
• Ensure progress of work is within budget and timelines as well as quality and safety objectives.
• Control and monitor work progress and resources.
• Monitor and control material wastage.
• In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and good quality of works & carried out safely and WSHE regulations are complied with.
• Ensuring that the site works are completed with high quality standards and adhering to safety requirements throughout the project.
• Attend progress meeting, coordinate with the contractor, suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required.
• Report to the Project Director.
• Overall in charge of site coordination.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 3 year of experience in construction industry in Singapore
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans
• Familiarity with construction methods, planning, materials, and equipment
