Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a vigilant civil construction professional to oversee day-to-day activities, ensure the master schedule is followed, and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 3 years in civil construction with MRT/LTA project exposure, hands-on experience with diaphragm walls, bored piling, and tunnel structures, plus strong safety and quality control skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction works.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in LTA underground or MRT projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and monitor site progress.
• Plan, implement, and monitor works per master schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, including QPS, on technical matters and site requirements.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, and relevant project stakeholders.
• Identify, manage, and resolve technical and engineering issues arising during construction.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site supervisors to ensure works are completed according to schedule and specifications.
• Maintain required quality standards and conduct regular site inspections.
• Ensure technical and construction issues are identified and resolved promptly.
• Prepare reports, method statements, and other project documentation when required.
• Manage and supervise workers and subcontractors to ensure productivity, safety, and proper housekeeping on site.
• Monitor ongoing construction activities closely to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and approved work procedures.
• Coordinate works involving utilities, excavation, structural works, and other civil construction activities.

• Identify, manage, and resolve technical and engineering issues arising during construction.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site supervisors to ensure works are completed according to schedule and specifications.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in LTA underground or MRT projects].
• Hands-on experience in construction activities such as:Diaphragm Wall (D-Wall)Bored Piling, Bulk Excavation, Tunnel Structures, including Rebar and Concrete Works, Drain Construction
• Experience: working with both dry utilities, including Telecommunications, Power, Gas,
• Experience working with wet utilities, including Raw Water Potable, Water Experience in traffic diversion and related coordination works.
• Experience working on LTA projects is highly advantageous.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, safety requirements, and quality control.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and project teams.
