Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation is seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to oversee mega construction activities in Singapore. You will schedule work, coordinate with engineers on temporary works, and liaise with consultants and subcontractors to maintain progress and safety.

The role requires extensive underground/tunnel experience, D/wall and piling expertise, and long hours to meet tight deadlines on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 15 years in construction with A1/main contractor or EPC mega projects.
• At least 10 years in underground/tunnel projects.
• Experience in D/wall, bored piling, bulk excavation, tunnel structures (rebar, concrete).
• Open to long hours Mon-Sat 7:30am-6pm.

• Prepare reports and method statements as necessary.
• Manage and control workers and keep site safe and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.

Job description

Main Duties:

• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work program
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Handle of technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule,
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience in construction industry in A1 or equivalent main contractor or EPC capacity handling mega construction/infrastructure project.
• Minimum 10 years' working experience in underground/tunnel/ project
• Experience in managing D/wall, Bored Piling, Bulk Excavation and Tunnel Structure (Rebar, Concrete), drain construction
• Open to long working hours to meet tight project deadlines; 6D Mon-Sat 7.30am-6pm
