Job summary

Sioux Singapore seeks a Software Test Lead to shape testing strategy for high-precision metrology and configuration-management software. You will guide both manual and automated testing, translating requirements into robust test cases while coordinating with global clients in English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as senior software test engineer or software test lead in high-tech, complex machine control systems in semiconductor or robotics domain.
• Broad and deep understanding of a complex product to map test coverage to requirements and code and identify gaps.
• Experience creating and maintaining a test strategy covering unit to system level, including hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Experience across mixed technology stacks, integrating C# and Python-based tools for automation or simulation.
• Ability to apply structured testing principles from ISTQB and use Jira test management plugins (X-Ray, Zephyr).
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with international clients in English.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOFTWARE TEST LEAD IN SINGAPORE TO JOIN US!

As a Software Test Lead, you shape the testing strategy and architecture for high-precision metrology and configuration-management software.

Your job will comprise:

• Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, while optimizing for requirements coverage and efficiency.
• Define, document, and maintain test plans, test specifications, and validation strategies.
• Identify test coverage, risks, and required test assets early in the design and development phases.
• Translate system requirements and specifications into structured test cases, both manual and automated.
• Root cause analysis of issues in production and field.
• Proactively contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Definition of Done discussions to embed testability early.

Job requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience as senior software test engineer or software test lead testing preferably for high-tech, complex machine control systems, in the semiconductor or advanced robotics domain
• Broad and deep understanding of a complex product to keep overview of test vs requirement and test vs code coverage and mapping out risks where there are gaps.
• Strong experience in creating and maintaining a test strategy on the best choices between unit and component testing, simulation and mocking to system level and Hardware in the Loop testing.
• Strong experience across mixed technology stacks, integrating C# and Python-based tools for automation or simulation.
• Certification doesn’t equate qualification, but you are able to apply structured testing principles from frameworks such as ISTQB.
• Preferably experience with using Jira test management plugins (e.g., X-Ray, Zephyr)
• Strong logical thinking, proactive mindset, and a high sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and technologies.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with international clients in English.
• Passionate about continuous learning and eager to grow in equipment, semiconductor, and other high-tech engineering domains.
• Open-minded and improvement-driven, with a willingness to adopt modern engineering and testing practices.
