Job summary

Sioux Singapore seeks a Software Test Lead to shape testing strategy for high-precision metrology and configuration-management software. You will guide both manual and automated testing, translating requirements into robust test cases while coordinating with global clients in English.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as senior software test engineer or software test lead in high-tech, complex machine control systems in semiconductor or robotics domain.
• Broad and deep understanding of a complex product to map test coverage to requirements and code and identify gaps.
• Experience creating and maintaining a test strategy covering unit to system level, including hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Experience across mixed technology stacks, integrating C# and Python-based tools for automation or simulation.
• Ability to apply structured testing principles from ISTQB and use Jira test management plugins (X-Ray, Zephyr).
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with international clients in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, optimizing for requirements coverage and efficiency.
• Define, document, and maintain test plans, test specifications, and validation strategies.
• Identify test coverage, risks, and required test assets early in design and development phases.
• Translate system requirements and specifications into structured test cases, both manual and automated.
• Root cause analysis of issues in production and field.
• Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Definition of Done discussions to embed testability early.
