Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Singapore is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to lead test planning, design, execution and reporting across the software development lifecycle.

You will define test strategies, review requirements, manage defects, and drive automation to improve quality and release readiness for RF and software systems in multi-location teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering in development and testing software applications.
• Strong experience in test management analytical skills in studying requirements, identifying test scenarios, and ensuring test coverage.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across cross-functional and multi-location teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and software quality.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or PMP.
• Understanding of RF communication systems and radio monitoring equipment.
