Sioux Singapore is seeking a Software Tech Lead to own technical execution and project delivery for semiconductor software projects. You will guide architecture, support the development team, and manage planning, risk, and client-facing communication with international OEM partners.
You will collaborate with software architects, developers, and clients to ensure high quality, realistic commitments, and timely delivery in a demanding domain.
ABOUT SIOUX Sioux is a strategic high-tech solutions provider that develops, innovates and assembles complex high-tech systems. We have a team of over 1,400 dedicated engineers who either support our clients or serve as their Research and Development department. Our strong productivity allows us to speed up product development, giving our clients a competitive edge at a better cost-effectiveness. As a rapidly growing employer, Sioux values its employees' growth and well-being. We invest in their career development and foster a positive work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.
SIOUX IN SINGAPORE Sioux Singapore plays a pivotal role in the Asian market by offering R&D services from our centers across Europe and Asia to customers, leading development teams in Asia, from Singapore. This expansion allows us to meet the changing needs of our domestic and international (OEM) customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical industries.
We build software at the intersection of precision hardware and high-stakes production — control systems for semiconductor equipment, data analytics platforms that help fabs improve yield and process stability. Our clients include leading international OEMs and China's most ambitious domestic wafer manufacturers.
As a Software Tech Lead, you will own both technical execution and practical project delivery for the team. You are expected to understand the software architecture, guide implementation decisions, support the development team technically, and also take responsibility for planning, progress tracking, risk follow-up, scope coordination, and client-facing communication. You will work closely with Software Architects, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure that complex semiconductor software projects are delivered with technical quality, realistic commitments, and clear alignment.
Own practical project management activities within the team, including delivery planning, task tracking, milestone follow-up, dependency management, risk escalation, and coordination of actions needed to meet commitments.
Build realistic technical delivery plans with the team, track progress against commitments, communicate status clearly, and adjust priorities when scope, risks, or dependencies change.
This is not a pure project management role and not a pure coding role. The successful candidate must combine software technical leadership with practical project ownership. They should be comfortable discussing software design, implementation trade‑offs, integration risks, technical dependencies, schedules, scope, priorities, and delivery commitments with engineers, architects, and clients. You do not need to be the sole architect, but you must be strong enough technically to guide execution and disciplined enough to drive follow‑up, coordination, and delivery closure.
Technical leadership in a demanding semiconductor software domain requires both engineering depth and delivery awareness. The problems are complex, the clients are sophisticated, and the margin for misunderstanding is low. You will stay close to the software, guide the team through technical decisions, develop genuine domain knowledge, and have visible influence over what ships — and how well it works.
We welcome candidates from industrial automation, scientific instrumentation, or other precision‑engineering software domains — deep semiconductor experience is not a prerequisite.
Our office is conveniently located next to theTai Seng MRT station.
