Job summary

Positronic Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Shipping/Store Assistant to manage daily shipment activities and stock control. The role includes preparing shipments, labeling, updating the system, and coordinating with forwarders. You will also support FIFO stock handling and order fulfillment within a fast-paced team environment.

The position requires basic English, good teamwork, and comfortable handling daily operational tasks in a 5-day work week. Local Singaporean work environment and processes apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily shipment activities and fulfill customer shipment expectations.
• Manage incoming and outgoing goods and stock; support daily supply chain operations and job order fulfillment.
• Pick goods at designated staging rack.
• Input and update goods receive information to the system for shipment.
• Pack and label goods on trays and shipping boxes.
• Update shipment information in the system and coordinate with customers on special requirements.
• Generate packing slips and commercial invoices from the system.
• Coordinate with forwarders for shipment collection.
• Cross-support to other areas as necessary.
• Perform job issuing according to internal job orders.
• Pick customer orders and fulfill.
• Maintain FIFO practices.
• Weigh/count, pack and label components per job requirements.
• Dispatch job orders, materials and components to designated departments.
• Perform physical stock takes.
• Prepare and deliver shipment goods to Shipping Department.
• Update system of goods movement.
• Cross-support to other areas.
• Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Job description

A Shipping/Store Assistant

i) Able handle company’s daily shipment activities & fulfill various customer shipment expectations.

ii) Able handle company’s incoming and outgoing goods and manage company’s stock. Support daily supply chain
operations and job order fulfillment.

Duties and responsibilities in Shipping:

• Pick the good at designated staging rack.
• Input & update the good receive information to system for shipment.
• Pack and label the good on the tray & shipping box.
• Update system of shipment info and verify the special requirement and act accordingly from customer if any.
• Generate the Packing Slip and Commercial invoice from system.
• Prepare, communicate and co-ordinate with forwarder of the shipment collection.
• Cross support to other areas and sections if necessary.

Duties and responsibilities in Store:

• Perform the job issuing according to job order from internal customer.
• Perform the customer order goods picking and fulfillment.
• Good practices on FIFO (First In First Out) manner.
• Weight/count, pack & label of components based on job requirements.
• Dispatch the job order, materials & components to designated department.
• Perform the physical stock take.
• Prepare & delivery shipment goods to Shipping Department.
• Update system of the goods movement.
• Cross support to other areas and sections if necessary.
• Handle ad hoc & other tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.
