Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate export sea freight shipments from Singapore, ensuring timely vessel departures, accurate documents, and clear updates to customers and agents. The role also involves documentation, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to keep operations on schedule.

You will work with cross-functional teams, use Microsoft Office to record shipping data, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or related field.
• Shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to undergo training if lacking shipping experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export sea freight shipments by scheduling and tracking vessel departures to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate proactively with customers, principals, and overseas agents to resolve issues and provide shipment updates.
• Manage vessel husbandry and bunkering activities by liaising with relevant parties to support vessel readiness.
• Prioritize daily tasks and manage deadlines to maintain smooth shipping operations.
• Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to document, report, and communicate shipping information effectively.
• Adapt to and perform efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
