Job summary

Mitra Famosa International Private Limited in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the day-to-day shipping operations, coordinating inbound and outbound freight to ensure timely delivery. You will monitor shipments, prepare documents, inspect cargo, and collaborate with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues while maintaining compliance with safety and customs regulations.

This role also involves data entry, responding to inquiries, and supporting the logistics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics and shipping operations for inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
• Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including airway bills, bills of lading, and other required import/export paperwork
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth transportation from origin to destination, updating clients and stakeholders as needed
• Inspect cargo in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, handling, and compliance with safety regulations
• Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking, cargo details, and other logistics documentation
• Support permit declarations and ensure compliance with customs regulations
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any operational issues or delays
• Provide support to both clients and internal teams, answering queries related to shipments, documentation, and logistics processes
• Carry out any ad-hoc duties as required to support the logistics department and meet operational goals
