Job summary

ACEXCELLENT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Shipping Executive for an import/export trading firm in Singapore. You will handle physical trade, prepare contracts and liaise with banks for financing, while managing shipment status and documentation.

The role requires shipping documentation experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with a team. Immediate start is advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma is required.
• Experience in shipping documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle the physical trade including contracts and monitor shipment status.
• Prepare sales and purchase contracts.
• Prepare and liaise with banks for financing applications; monitor shipments.
• Prepare sales invoices and other documents; check shipping docs and arrange payments/draw down import loans.
• Prepare insurance coverage, including monthly declarations to insurers.
• Keep trade records.
• Assist in claims, including calculation of claims.

Main responsibilities

• To be responsible for the physical trade including


• prepare sales/ purchase contracts


• prepare and liaise with banks for financing applications-monitor shipment status


• prepare sales invoices and other documents-check shipping documents and arrange for accounts to make payment/ draw down import loans-handle export documentation


• prepare insurance coverage, including monthly declarations to the insurers


• upkeep trade records


• To assist in claims (Calculation of claims etc.)

• Experienced in shipping documentation.


• Strong organizational skills


• Team player and have ability to work independently


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization


• Can start work immediately is advantageous
