Job summary

STARSEED TECHNOLOGIES (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a shipping operations coordinator responsible for managing export documentation and coordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and shipping agents to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.

The role involves preparing export documents, tracking shipments, and maintaining compliance across ocean and air freight workflows, including letters of credit and related paperwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of freight forwarding, export document preparation, and shipment management.
• Familiarity with ocean freight and air freight operations.
• Understanding of letters of credit and export financing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit shipping documents to the Bank to support export transactions.
• Communicate proactively with freight forwarders to track and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate efficiently between suppliers, customers, and shipping agents to organize shipment procedures without errors.
• Apply knowledge of freight forwarding processes to ensure compliance and smooth shipment flow.
• Manage export document preparation including letters of credit and related paperwork.
• Utilize familiarity with ocean freight and air freight logistics to optimize shipment handling.

• Starseed is a wholesaler and importer-exporter of computer and IT peripherals and home appliances, operating from Ubi Techpark with a small team. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9: 30am to 6:30pm.

Job Summary

Manage shipping operations by preparing export documents, coordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and shipping agents to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing.
