SSY Singapore is seeking a motivated Ship Broker to join our global dry bulk team. You will develop client relationships, identify market opportunities and help connect shipowners with charterers across the globe.

With 1–2 years in dry bulk shipbroking, you will negotiate fixes, coordinate fixtures, and contribute to market intelligence in a fast-moving environment. The role offers international exposure and a collaborative, commercially driven culture.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in dry bulk shipbroking.
• Understanding of dry bulk shipping, freight markets and chartering practices.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, commercially driven mindset with interest in global shipping markets.
• Ability to work independently yet contribute to a team.
• Good organisational skills; proficient in MS Office and shipping databases.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Be Doing

• Brokerage & Negotiation: Assist in negotiating and fixing vessel chartering deals between shipowners and charterers, with a focus on the Panamax market.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
• Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with dry bulk freight market movements, industry trends and trading opportunities to provide valuable market insights to clients.
• Deal Execution: Coordinate fixtures, prepare and review charter party agreements, and ensure accurate and timely documentation throughout the chartering process.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver effective broking solutions and achieve shared commercial goals.
