Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a dry bulk broker.
• Established network of shipowner and charterer contacts.
• Strong understanding of charter party terms and freight market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Business or a related field is preferred.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and brokers to expand business opportunities.
• Track freight rates, vessel positions, and cargo availability to identify and capitalize on chartering opportunities.
• Prepare fixture recaps, charter party terms, and related documentation to ensure accurate contract execution.
• Coordinate with operations teams post-fixture to facilitate smooth handover and operational efficiency.
• Monitor market developments continuously and provide timely updates to clients to support informed decision-making.
