Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte Ltd is partnering with a well-established company in Singapore to hire a role that serves as key planning and coordination link between clients, sub-contractors, and the company’s technical standards.

You will plan the work, assign the right people, supervise their output, and provide engineering guidance to resolve issues, with a focus on maintenance and building management systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma and/or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BMS / PLC / HVAC systems is an advantage — training will be provided.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; able to manage sub-contractors and multiple moving parts.
• Proactive, independent, and able to take ownership of site outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign sub-contractors and manpower for maintenance work from project handover onwards.
• Supervise and manage sub-contractors, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Plan and schedule Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for HVAC, chiller, and building control systems.
• Coordinate system back-ups, restoration, and upgrade works by sub-contractors on BMS/PLC/SCADA.
• Review and troubleshoot issues with mechanical-BMS interfaces, providing engineering guidance.
• Record servicing data and generate service reports.
• Serve as the technical and operational point of contact for Maintenance Site Facility Management teams.

About the Role

You'll act as the key planning and coordination link between clients, sub-contractors, and company’s technical standards. Rather than performing the servicing yourself, you'll plan the work, assign the right people to do it, supervise their output, and step in with engineering guidance when issues need to be resolved.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and assign sub-contractors and manpower for maintenance work, from project handover onwards

• Supervise and manage sub-contractors carrying out maintenance and servicing works, ensuring quality and timeliness

• Plan and schedule Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for HVAC, chiller, and building control systems

• Coordinate system back-ups, restoration, and upgrade works carried out by sub-contractors, ensuring BMS / DCS / PLC / SCADA systems are properly maintained

• Review and troubleshoot issues raised by sub-contractors, providing engineering guidance where the mechanical-BMS interface needs deeper expertise

• Record servicing and maintenance data, and generate service reports

• Serve as the technical and operational point of contact for Maintenance Site Facility Management teams
  

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent

• Knowledge of BMS / PLC / HVAC systems is an advantage — training will be provided for candidates with less experience

• Strong organizational and coordination skills — comfortable managing sub-contractors and multiple moving parts rather than purely hands-on servicing

• Proactive individual who can work independently and take ownership of site outcomes
