• Work Location: Haw Par Techno Centre, Commonwealth Drive (Site Deployment Required)
• 1-Year Contract with Potential Conversion to Permanent Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a BMS Electrical Engineer to support the design coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of building automation systems with ACMV, electrical, fire, security, and ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of BMS electrical and control system works.
• Review project drawings, specifications, control schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist in BMS system design coordination including DDC panels, sensors, actuators, field devices, cabling, and control interfaces.
• Coordinate integration of BMS with ACMV, electrical, fire alarm, security, ELV, and other building systems.
• Supervise site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, material delivery, and installation quality.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and inspection requests.
• Support testing and commissioning activities including point-to-point testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and troubleshooting.
• Resolve technical and coordination issues on site.
• Maintain proper documentation including test records, inspection reports, as-built drawings, and operation manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Provide technical support to site supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in BMS/BAS, controls systems, or M&E building services projects.
• Strong understanding of BMS components including DDC panels, sensors, actuators, control wiring, and system integration.
• Familiar with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, or KNX is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of ACMV systems and controls is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare projects preferred.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering tools.
• Singapore construction or M&E project experience preferred.
