Job summary

Well Established Company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead planning, scheduling, and end-to-end execution of data centre cooling projects. You will coordinate vendors and subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, review specifications, and deliver training and ongoing support to clients across Asia.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience in cooling systems (CRAC, precision air-conditioning) and willingness to travel extensively; you will report to the

Qualifications

• Possess minimum Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project engineering with cooling systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Asia to support project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, resource forecasts, and risk-mitigation plans.
• Spearhead end-to-end project implementation (setup → commissioning → handover).
• Manage vendors/subcontractors for quality, timeline, and cost adherence.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and scope documents for compliance.
• Conduct equipment setup, start-up, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot post-handover technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and training to local partners on system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure strict compliance with Singapore safety regulations (WSH Act).
• Prepare and submit risk assessments, RAMS, and safety reports.
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Lead project meetings and deliver progress updates to cross-functional teams.
• Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, and project documentation.
• Optimize project tracking methods and reporting tools for real-time visibility.
• Develop and deliver operational/maintenance training to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop project schedules, resource forecasts, and risk-mitigation plans.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project engineering, with hands-on experience in cooling systems, preferably involving data centre cooling solutions, CRAC, precision air-conditioning or other mission-critical cooling infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Asia to support project execution.
