Job summary

JLL in Singapore seeks a Workplace Event Lead (IFM) to guide a team of ambassadors, plan and execute workplace events that boost employee engagement and reinforce client culture. The role collaborates with Workplace Experience, Engineering, and Facilities, managing budgets and timelines across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum 3 years supervisory experience in facilities/hospitality, with strong project mgmt skills and a passion for creating memorable employee

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in Soft Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing & Communications, or related field.
• Minimum Diploma Holder in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration or its equivalent.
• A strong operational mindset with a genuine passion for building meaningful employee experiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: recruit, hire, onboard event team members, set performance expectations, delegate, and conduct regular team meetings.
• Event Program Management: oversee portfolio of workplace events across categories and locations including town halls, leadership summits, and celebrations.
• Budget Management: develop annual event budgets, allocate resources, negotiate vendors, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: liaison between events team and stakeholders; collaborate with communications, facilities, IT, and site teams.
• Crisis Management & Problem Solving: act as escalation point for event issues; implement contingency plans and manage high-pressure situations.
• Health & Safety Management: ensure safety standards, vendor compliance, data privacy, and incident reviews.
• Event Planning & Strategy: align event strategy with client goals and company culture; define objectives and success metrics.
• Event Execution & Management: end-to-end management of events including venue, vendors, budget, timelines, logistics, invitations, and registrations.
