Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) invites a passionate Relationship Manager to join its Medium Enterprise Banking team. You will build and grow a portfolio of SME clients, deepening existing relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions with product specialists.

The role requires strong relationship management, credit assessment and knowledge of corporate banking products. You will engage business owners and senior decision-makers, maintain risk discipline, and present financing

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship management, business development and credit assessment within commercial/ SME banking.
• Proven ability to acquire, manage and grow SME client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, credit fundamentals and financial analysis.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and target achievement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior decision-makers.
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Accountancy or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and grow a portfolio of SME clients through proactive business development and relationship management.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to provide tailored banking solutions across lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury and wealth products.
• Partner with product specialists, credit teams and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify growth opportunities and ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Stay informed of market developments, industry trends and regulatory changes to provide insightful advice.
• Maintain strong credit and risk discipline while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and present financing proposals and strategic recommendations.
