Job summary

United Overseas Bank (UOB) in Singapore seeks an experienced corporate banking professional to manage a portfolio of big clients and drive growth. You will analyze client financing needs, structure credit proposals, and collaborate with risk, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions.

You will lead client engagements, identify opportunities to expand services, and maintain high standards of compliance and client satisfaction in a fast-paced wholesale banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of corporate banking or relationship management experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate financial products and services.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and credit assessment skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of corporate clients, understanding their business objectives and financial requirements.
• Pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling UOB products and services (e.g., trade finance, cash management, treasury, corporate finance).
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of client businesses to assess creditworthiness and propose lending and investment solutions.
• Prepare and present credit proposals, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product specialists, credit risk, legal, operations) to deliver seamless service.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws and internal policies.
