The role requires handling letters of credit, settlements, and liaising with customers to resolve discrepancies while ensuring timely processing and reporting. Strong analytical skills and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a Degree and at least 4 years of banking experience in trade finance.
• Proficiency in UCP 600 and in checking import/export shipping documents.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated efficiency in completing tasks accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Process import and export bills, including trade bill transactions, advising, and settlements.
• Conduct preliminary checks on all import and export documents.
• Liaise with customers to amend documents with discrepancies and oversee acceptance of import bills.
• Handle processing of forfaiting and other refinancing trade bills.
• Collect L/Cs and shipping documents from customers and address inquiries regarding bills.
