Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking an experienced Trade Finance professional in Singapore to manage end-to-end trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, collections and bank guarantees. You will review shipping documents, prepare applications, and ensure regulatory and internal control compliance.

The role requires 5–6 years of relevant experience in trade finance or treasury, with knowledge of compliance, AML and sanctions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, documentary collections and bank guarantees.
• Review trade and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with banking and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and submit trade finance applications, amendments and supporting documents to banks.
• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor banking facilities, credit limits, utilization, maturity dates, fees and financing costs.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on transactions, facilities and documentation matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processing.
• Support cash flow planning and monitor upcoming payments, receipts and financing requirements.
• Review transaction records and reports, and assist in improving operational processes and controls.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and perform ad hoc duties as required.
