Job summary

Datadog is seeking a strategic Recruiting leader to build and scale global recruiting teams. You will partner with HR and business leaders to drive hiring strategy, establish objectives, and close top talent across leadership roles. Strong emphasis on mentorship, stakeholder management, and data-driven decisions will be essential.

You will coach and develop teams, improve processes, and align recruiting efforts with quarterly OKRs while maintaining a fast, human, and high-impact hiring culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in full-lifecycle recruiting with 4+ years leading recruiting teams.
• Proven people manager with mentoring and development experience.
• Excellent cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Strong ability to sell value propositions, negotiate, and close strong candidates.
• Ability to operate with urgency and adapt to changing business needs using data.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop high performing teams, establishing objectives and quarterly hiring goals/OKRs.
• Coach teams to prioritize diverse talent pipelines and build strong candidate relationships.
• Lead recruiting for strategic or leadership level roles when needed.
• Share training on sourcing, interviewing, and process optimization with recruiters/leaders.
• Mentor leaders across the organization and set high standards for leadership behavior.
• Use funnel metrics to drive actions and address resources and process challenges.
