Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced leader to head recruiting teams, partner with HR and business leaders, and scale the recruiting function for global growth. The role emphasizes strategic hiring, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive diverse pipelines and fast, human hiring practices.

You will leverage data to optimize operations, coach leaders, and shape the recruiting strategy across leadership and IC roles in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-lifecycle recruiting with leadership exposure.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop others in their careers.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent at selling value propositions and closing great candidates.
• Ability to operate with urgency across the recruiting cycle.
• Ability to use data to identify and drive recruitment changes.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop high performing teams and meet quarterly hiring goals and OKRs.
• Coach teams to build diverse pipelines and maintain strong candidate relationships.
• Engage across strategic or leadership level roles as needed.
• Share and train on sourcing, interviewing, and profiling best practices.
• Mentor and set standards for organizational leadership across the recruiting function.
• Use funnel metrics to drive actions and address resource and operational challenges.
