Job summary

The National University of Singapore's Office of Student Affairs is seeking a committed and resourceful professional to join the Student Leadership and Development team. The role supports governance, advisory, and continuous improvement of student-facing systems and processes across the University.

You will review governance frameworks, streamline processes and develop SOPs and onboarding resources to strengthen student organisation management, while supporting student leaders and staff advisors

Qualifications

• Recognised university degree in any discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in student administration, operations, programme management or higher education administration will be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Good writing skills, with experience preparing guides, SOPs, and communications for different user groups.
• Have experience in automation and MS Excel to streamline workflows.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to support programme delivery, performances, festivals, and student engagement activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Governance and compliance for student organisations, strengthening frameworks and processes.
• Provide guidance and engagement with student leaders and organisations.
• Develop self-help resources and onboarding guides; align with Staff Advisor training to ensure consistent guidance.
• Coordinate and implement student programmes, activities and events, including venues, vendors, equipment, registration and logistics.
• Manage administrative, financial and reporting requirements for student organisations, including budgeting, expenditure tracking and procurement processes.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports and undertake operational follow-up to support institutional reporting requirements; undertake ad hoc duties and projects.
