Job summary

NTU Singapore invites applications for Assistant Director, Student Development. The role provides leadership across Transition, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Development, and Governance, driving coherence of student development outcomes across the lifecycle.

You will lead portfolio leads and teams, set priorities, advise university leadership on orientation and student wellbeing, and oversee cross-unit collaboration to deliver impactful learning experiences for undergraduates and

Qualifications

Degree in any discipline.
10–12 years of relevant working experience.
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in tertiary education is advantageous.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead for Transition Experience (Undergraduate and Postgraduate).
Set strategic direction for the Transition portfolio and translate framework into plans.
Advise and staff the Vice Provost and Director in leading Orientation Committee.
Provide executive oversight of the Transition and Orientation Programme (TOP).
Lead for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Development and drive student development programmes.
Oversee School Constituent Clubs, Scholar Clubs, NTU Students’ Union and Graduate Students’ Association.
Bridge NTUSU/GSA with university administration and external partners.
Lead Policy and Governance for all Student Organisations across constituition, activities, finance, safety.
