Job summary

National University of Singapore invites applications for a Senior Manager/Manager (Student Life) in the Office of the Provost. The role supports the Vice Provost (Student Life) through policy research, analysis and development, strategic planning, coordination, and evaluation of university-wide Student Life priorities.

You will engage stakeholders, lead policy papers and strategic projects, monitor Student Life activities, and translate data into clear recommendations for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, or related fields.
• 2–3 years in policy, strategy or governance in large organisations.
• Strong research, analytical and synthesis capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects end-to-end.
• Interpersonal and stakeholder-management strengths.
• Organised, detail-oriented with multiple priorities.
• MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; SPSS/Stata & data viz are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct policy research, environmental scans and literature reviews.
• Engage stakeholders to shape Student Life policies and strategies.
• Draft policy papers, briefing notes and management reports.
• Lead strategic projects from planning through evaluation.
• Monitor and report Student Life activities to senior management.
• Analyze survey data and translate findings into recommendations.
• Collaborate with faculties and hostels to support decisions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support cross-functional priorities.
• Undertake other strategic duties as assigned.
