Job summary

CHECC(SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced architectural site coordinator to supervise architectural works on large-scale projects in Singapore. You will coordinate finishes, joinery, ceilings, partitions, and finishes with M&E and structural trades to prevent clashes and delays.

The role requires 5–8 years of site experience and the ability to read shop drawings and specifications, with strong quality control and problem-solving skills to maintain safety and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Architectural, Building, Construction Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant site experience, preferably in architectural works, commercial, hospitality or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, construction methods and site coordination.
• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants, M&E and other trades.
• Good knowledge of quality control, inspections, defects rectification and construction documentation.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise architectural works and subcontractors according to approved drawings, specifications and project programme.
• Coordinate architectural finishes including partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, glazing, painting, joinery and specialist finishes.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups and technical details with consultants and project teams.
• Coordinate architectural works with M&E, structural and other trades to prevent clashes, delays and rework.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and defect/snagging follow-up to ensure required workmanship and standards.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, material deliveries and work sequencing, and report issues or delays to the Architectural/Project Manager.
• Maintain site documentation, inspection records, RFIs, progress reports and handover documents, while ensuring compliance with safety and project requirements.
