Job summary

Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced construction professional to join our project team as a site coordination leader.

You will oversee inspections and ensure accurate coordination across architectural, structural and MEP trades, including shop drawings and samples. Responsibilities include tendering support, preparing client briefing slides, reviewing specs, and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in the Construction or related industry preferred.
• Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM for Architectural/Structural/MEP.
• 3D modelling and visualization with SketchUp.
• Able to coordinate & check Architectural, M&E and Structural workshop drawings.
• Conversant with architectural trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead site inspections for facade and precast installation.
• Coordinate shop drawings and as-built drawings with all trades.
• Support end-to-end tendering, including preparation of tender documents, meetings, and minutes.
• Create client briefing slides for management decisions.
• Review project specs, shop drawings and clarifications.
• Prepare and monitor shop drawings and sample schedules with procurement.
• Manage submission and approval of shop drawings and samples.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, authorities and subcontractors.
• Rectify technical and coordination issues within the project team.
• Track and manage claim-related issues and action items.
• Attend consultant technical meetings and ensure CBP is up to date.
• Prepare method statements for consultant approval.
• Any other duties assigned by the superior.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct and lead the site inspection (structural and architectural trades) including facade, precast installation.
• Involved and led in checking and coordination of shop drawings and as-built drawings with all respective trades (e.g., Architectural, Structural, MEP and Specialist Subcontractors' works).
• Support end-to-end tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, coordination of consultant and client meetings and issuance of meeting minutes.
• Create clear and concise presentation slides for client management briefings to support decision-making.
• Review project specifications, Shop drawings and technical clarifications.
• Able to prepare and monitor the progress of Shop drawings and Sample schedule with procurement schedule.
• Manage the submission and approval of Shop Drawings and Samples from Consultants.
• Manage the receipt and issuance of all Consultant drawings and Shop drawings.
• Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors throughout the construction phase.
• Rectify any technical and coordination issues that surface within the Project team and any related working partners.
• Managed claim-related issues and maintained systematic tracking of action items.
• Attend the consultant technical meetings and check the CBP are up to date.
• Prepare method statement and submit for consultant approval.
• Any other duties assigned by the superior.

Job requirements:

• Recognized Degree/ Diploma in Architecture/ Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent
• Min. 4 years’ experience in the Construction or related industry preferred
• Well-versed in Navisworks, Autocad, Revit/BIM software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP
• 3D modelling and visualisation - Sketchup
• Able to coordinate & check Architectural, M&E and Structural workshop drawings
• Conversant with architectural trades
