Job summary

Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable Sales/Technical Sales professional to drive growth in the asphalt premix market. You will identify opportunities, visit sites, prepare quotations, and build lasting client relationships.

You will liaise with operations, prepare engineering documentation and reports, and support forecasting. A Diploma in Civil Engineering and 3 years in sales or technical sales in construction or roadworks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in sales or technical sales (asphalt/roadworks/construction).
• Basic knowledge of asphalt premix, roadwork specs, and project execution.
• Proficient in creating engineering documents, project reports, and sales presentations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Preferably with Class 3 licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the asphalt premix market for contractors, developers, and municipal projects.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project scope for cost estimation.
• Prepare competitive quotations based on site surveys.
• Follow up quotations closely to secure sales.
• Liaise with operations teams for site follow up and coordination with customer requirements.
• Oversee and assist in technical documentation, including site plans, specifications, and project reports.
• Handle client inquiries with technical advice and commercial solutions.
• Visit clients regularly to secure recurring business and build brand loyalty.
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships for high satisfaction and repeat business.
• Support monthly sales forecasting and reporting.
• Monitor payment and collection after sales.
• Tender tracking and monitoring.
• Under the WS H Act, maintain safety and report unsafe acts; follow safety procedures.
