Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in OH&S, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of safety management experience in construction or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and risk assessments.
• Proven experience creating and delivering training programs.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying hazards and ensuring compliance.
• Proactive and able to mitigate safety risks ahead of time.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to foster a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and accidents.
• Ensure adherence to local safety regulations, WSH and OSH standards.
• Develop designs, methods, risk assessments, specifications, and plans with project teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Organize and lead safety training sessions for employees on safe work practices and emergencies.
• Conduct safety inspections on all job sites to ensure safety procedures are in place.
• Investigate workplace incidents to determine causes and develop prevention strategies.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
• Review and update records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities for management review.
• Lead a team of safety professionals.
