Job summary

Mighty Engineering & Construction in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Safety officer to implement and monitor the WSH Management System across multiple construction sites. You will conduct site inspections, assess hazards, review risk assessments, SWP and PTWs, and ensure compliance with MOM regulations and client requirements.

Qualifications

• WSQ Certificate or equivalent in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Preferably 6 years of relevant construction experience.
• Good knowledge of WSH regulations and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work at project sites located in Jurong Island.
• Possess own transport to travel to project sites and work locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the WSH Management System and safety programmes.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, identify hazards and ensure risk controls.
• Review and monitor RA, SWP and PTW systems.
• Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, WSH requirements, policies and client requirements.
• Conduct safety inductions and promote a positive safety culture across project sites.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor WSH performance and support audits and inspections.
• Maintain safety records, reports and statutory documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Provide WSH advice to management and site personnel and recommend improvements.
