Job summary

Smart IMS Inc. is seeking an experienced Application Support professional to manage production incidents for Global Banking Real Time Payments Applications. The role focuses on L2 support, health checks, and automation for BAU tasks within Corporate Banking.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical ownership, expertise in payments platforms, and strong scripting in Unix/Windows environments. The position requires a track record in 24/7 incident handling and familiarity with real-time

Qualifications

10+ years IT experience in production or release support.
Experience supporting high-availability, transaction-driven systems (payments, channels, or payment orchestration).
Proven experience managing real-time production incidents and high-severity outages in a 24/7 environment.
Knowledge of JDBC, XML, JSON, RabbitMQ, MQ, Microservices & MuleSoft.
Strong OS knowledge in Unix and Windows with scripting skills.
Experience with database technologies (Oracle, DB2, PL/SQL) and executing queries to support incident resolution.
Experience with monitoring and scheduling tools for production support.
Ability to perform root-cause analysis, live restoration, and timely communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide L2 Application Real Time Payments Production Support within Corporate Banking.
Perform day-to-day production support, health checks, and automate BAU tasks.
Apply server OS patches and manage outage windows for 24x7 active-passive apps.
Operate as a senior individual contributor with deep technical ownership (no people mgmt).
Leverage Finacle knowledge and payment domain expertise to support sanctions, warehouse payments, and regulatory Cut-offs.
