Job summary

Dyson Singapore is expanding its embedded software team within the MDAC group and seeks a Senior Applied Control Systems Engineer. You will develop and maintain real time embedded software for Dyson Digital Motors and other control systems, and contribute to test systems for production and hardware tests.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong C programming ability, MCU knowledge, and experience in software verification and documentation.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or numerate discipline or equivalent industry experience.
At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant industry.
Experience in bare-metal microcontroller software development.
Strong background in real time embedded C, with strong knowledge of MCU peripherals.
Software configuration management (source control, CI).
Ability to plan and estimate development tasks.
Strong communication and ability to bridge multiple teams.
Ability to report progress clearly in meetings and documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain real time embedded software for Dyson Digital Motors and advanced control systems.
Develop software for test systems enabling automated production testing and power electronics hardware tests.
Document software requirements, design and implementation.
