Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking a Senior Motor Control Engineer tojoin the MDAC team within SWHWPS. You will apply advanced control theory, EM design and MATLAB-based modelling to deliver motor control solutions for Dyson products.

The role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering and production, translating requirements into actionable deliverables and supporting design, testing and industrialisation. A strong background in electrical machines and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or numerate discipline or equivalent industry experience.
At least 3 years of experience developing motor control algorithms and electromagnetic parts of single/three phase motors.
Knowledge across electrical machines, motor control, power electronics and control theory.

Responsibilities

Deliver from design phase until industrialising phase.
Translate requirements into clear deliverables at each project milestone.
Design, develop and document motor control algorithms for product features.
Simulate and test motor control and EM designs.
Support design, commissioning and troubleshooting of complex production testers.
